Complex Human Resources Director

Responsabilities:

Reporting directly to the Complex General Manager, you will be responsible for the total Human Resources function for Sheraton Oran Hotel and Four Points by Sheraton Oran. You will be required to lead, organise, manage and develop the operations of the Human Resources Department to ensure a high performance culture is created and maintained at each level of Associates within the hotels. 

Key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

• As a member of the Executive Committee for each hotel, participate in all operational, human resources and financial decisions.

• Participate in the preparation of the Strategic Business & Operation Plans and develop and implement detailed Human Resources plans to support business objectives.

• Develop and implement effective organisational structures which reflect each hotel’s business goals and operating parameters.

Ensure systems and procedures which uphold the Company’s recruitment philosophy of EEO, Anti-Harassment & Anti-Discrimination, Company policy and local labour laws, are developed and adhered to.

• Oversee all Employee Relations and Industrial Relations matters as they relate to local employment and civil rights laws and ensure key legislation is communicated to relevant Associates.

• Develop recruitment strategies with a focus on being an “Employer of Choice” and oversee the efficient and timely hiring of all Associates.

• Responsible for the development, maintenance and co-ordination of each hotel’s learning and development activities.

• Collaborate with Associates to ensure understanding and compliance of WH&S legislation, develop the safety culture at the hotels and oversee effective workplace injury management.

Requirements:

  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • MBA/Master Human Resources
  • Perfect English and French. Arabic could be beneficial
  • Past international hotel experience
  • Good computer skills
