Reponsabilities :

  • To follow up and facilitate the execution of the company’s overall strategy and operational plans in the region under concerned executives’ supervision (cooperation and coordination with concerned executives to achieve the regional targets).
  • To be fully responsible of the regional performance with direct control on the commercial, technology and support operations.

Definition and execution of the operational plan:

  • Propose regional operational plan to reach objectives set by the center (adapt priorities to regional specificities, set detailed operational targets and roadmap)
  • Recommend operational changes within the allocated functionality in response to changing conditions
  • Achieve regional targets in terms of Commercial, Technology and general KPIs (NPS, participation to mandatory sessions, etc.)
  • Oversee Commercial and Support related issues in liaison with the adequate central management interfaces
  • Oversee Technology related issues in liaison with the regional O&M Access manager (Technology single point of contact)
  • Guarantee compliance by making sure that all the company’s policies and procedures are being properly implemented in the region
  • Constitution and animation of the regional team
  • Contribute to regional HR activities (recruitment on selected positions, target setting, appraisal and promotions of N-1, integration / training of new recruits)
  • Monitor, challenge and steer Commercial, Technology and Support regional teams to meet the plan
  • Conduct regular meetings with the region’s management and staff to enhance staff engagement, motivation and keep a close contact between the staff/management in the region and the regional Head office
  • Provide coaching and mentoring support to the region’s leadership

Monitoring of the region performance:

  • Monitor the region’s simplified P&L versus regional budget
  • Communicate regularly key achievements and main issues / roadblocks in particular to Regional Coordinator
  • Ensure implementation of central projects
  • Represent the region at the central HQ during weekly regional meetings

Management of local stakeholders:

  • Represent the company in the region when meeting with officials and portray a positive image of the company when dealing with government and private sectors
  • Assist in identifying and validating sponsorship opportunities

Skills:

  • University degree, MAB is plus.
  • Min 8 years in GSM industry of which at least 5 years in a managerial level.
  • Arabic : Advanced skills

  • Advanced skills in IT
