About the department:

  • Novo Nordisk is investing in a new manufacturing facility in Algiers. Here, the final assembly of pharmaceutical products will be conducted in order to deliver to the Algerian market. The Local Manufacturing site Blida (LMB) is part of Local Manufacturing and International Operations Projects (LMIOP) based in Denmark. LMIOP is responsible for Novo Nordisk’s local manufacturing projects in the Products Supply division.

The position:
 

  • The position is located the project production site in Boufarik with frequent travels to be expected. You will be part of an international network of fellow professionals, and you will always be able to draw on the collected knowledge and experience of dedicated colleagues. As a Training Partner you will:

Plan:
 

  • Drive implementation and support proper maintenance of PS Operational Training Standard in LMB as a part of the training system
  • Ensure sustainability and effectiveness of LMB training system and its compliance with the requirements
  • Implement and support effective talent management process including the on-boarding

Execute:

  • Drive the implementation and maintenance of the PS Operational Training Standard. Act as a project manager for PS OTS implementation, incl. coordination of activities (mobilize needed resources)
  • Evaluate the training needs in LMB (including the ones required by legislation) and arrange training activities accordingly (including self-performing of class trainings and workshops, coaching sessions)
  • Act as an owner of the training system: establish and maintain the processes that will ensure effective training set-up supporting the business needs and in compliance with the internal and external requirements
  • Support managers at all levels in training in their R&R’s related to the training system, helping them in implementing the proper training set-up in their teams and providing them with the needed tools and solutions
  • Drive development of aligned approaches to training across LMB
  • Ensure R&R’s regarding training and development processes within LMB are distributed, communicated, trained and clearly understood
  • Coordinate with GSC Training Coordinator for ISOtrain related tasks
  • Perform regular process confirmations of the training system and support the managers in developing the actions aimed to cover the discovered gaps and to improve the processes on system level
  • Design and facilitate talent management across LMB in partnership with P&O Manager
  • Support leadership development across LMB in partnership with the management team
  • Facilitate and support individual development process
  • Support LM sites and HQ with the identified priorities within training and development
  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with all NN and local Algerian safety and environmental regulations
  • Follow business ethics principles and local legislation while in contact with stakeholders

Collaborate:

  • Participate actively in the management group within Site Blida Finished Products and obtain joint objectives.

Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in Training or HR role demonstrating experience specifically in Training
  • Experience in working in a manufacturing company, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience in an international company is an advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Fluent in local language
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral

You are known for your global mindset and excellent stakeholder management skills with the personal courage and integrity to take the right decisions in due time. Excellent command of written and spoken English and French is required.
