 About the department : 

  • Novo Nordisk is investing in a new manufacturing facility in Algiers. Here, the final assembly of pharmaceutical products will be conducted in order to deliver to the Algerian market. The Local Manufacturing site Blida (LMB) is part of Local Manufacturing and International Operations Projects (LMIOP) based in Denmark. LMIOP is responsible for Novo Nordisk’s local manufacturing projects in the Products Supply division.

 The position : 

  • The position is located the project production site in Boufarik with frequent travels to be expected. You will be part of an international network of fellow professionals, and you will always be able to draw on the collected knowledge and experience of dedicated colleagues. As IT Automation Engineer you will:


Plan : 

  • IT support and troubleshooting, Hardware and software rollouts, Hardware and software maintenance, System administration, Training users, Compliance, Security


Execute :

  •  Provide IT support for software, hardware and network
  • Ensure that all support calls are resolved and addressed in accordance with the SLA
  •   Analyse user issues and escalate them to the appropriate area when necessary
  • Rollout hardware and software
  • User administration
  • Provide IT training
  • Update security patching in order to ensure compliance with Novo Nordisk standards
  • Support network, server and telecommunications infrastructure
  •   Ensure that systems are in compliance with Novo Nordisk standards, local laws and regulations
  •  Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs
  • Develop and refine operation and maintenance procedures
  • Assist with the implementation of corporate and regionally driven IT activities and projects
  • Identify users’ needs and suggest solutions to management

 Collaborate :

  • Participate actively in the management group within Site Blida Finished Products and obtain joint objectives.
  • Strictly follow Novo Nordisk procedures and policies currently in force
  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with all NN and local safety and environmental requirements
  • Abide by NN business ethics principles and local legislation
  • Abide by the quality system of Novo Nordisk, and inform Line Manager about any critical issues concerning quality
  •  Abide by the rules of the Algerian Labor Law
  •  Inform management about any events or processes that can impact on Novo Nordisk’s activities or reputation
  • Keep in order job documents and correspondence, regularly check e-mails and respond in appropriate time

 Qualifications :

  •  IT related University Bachelor or Associate degree
  • Minimum 2-3 years supporting users and administering IT systems/networks
  • As a person you are assertive and driven, resilient and persistent with a strong drive to see things through.
  • You are known for your global mindset and excellent stakeholder management skills with the personal courage and integrity to take the right decisions in due time.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and French is required.

 Geographic responsibility :

  • Limited participation in international network.
  • After initial training period of approx 3 months abroad (DK or France) minimal travel off site expected
