About the department:

  • The Clinical operation department is part of the Clinical, Medical and Regulatory organization.
  • We are a dedicated team who are responsible for the Clinical research project, activities with regulatory ,medical affairs and Pharmacovigilance.

 

Work:

  • Role is critical to the success of an affiliate increasingly strategy for Novo Nordisk. You will report directly the Clinical Operations Manager
  • Your role is to coordinate, in partnership with the Clinical Operation Manager, the clinical trial set-up at a local level to ensure appropriate site and resources allocation.
  • Manage local clinical projects, ensuring they are executed in a timely and effective manner, within budget and complying with regulatory requirements, Helsinki Declaration, GCP (Good Clinical Practice) and NN SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Provide clinical trial related communication and insight to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage and coach CRAs (Clinical Research Administrator) and CTAs (Clinical Trial Administrator) activity to ensure high performance and implement development actions when necessary.

 

Qualification:

  • Degree or higher qualifications in Pharmacy, Life Sciences or other related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in conducting clinical trials as CRA and/or Trial company , with two years with people management
  • High commitment to quality of all projects. A “do what it takes” mindset and positive attitude
  • IT Capabilities with specific knowledge : e-system (EDC, IMPACT, IVWRS, Clinphone)
  • The ability to cope and work effectively within an environment that has quickly changing processes and procedures
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • The ability to work effectively and efficiently under deadlines
  • Willingness and ability to implement action plans without being told to do so
  • Fluency in written and spoken Arabic, French and English is a must.
