Responsibilities :

  • MAIN DUTIES AND AUTHORIZATIONS
  • Through knowledge of domestic and international supply markets, trends and spend analysis for own category, is able to analyze demand, markets and suppliers to create basis for decision of the optimum sourcing strategy
  • Brings new suppliers, service providers and material innovations into the purchasing portfolio
  • Where applicable analyzes sales and operations planning in respect of new projects, assessing and controlling material costs to ensure effective involvement of sourcing
  • Maintains intensive regular contact with internal/external interface partners in order to recognize developments (market, demand, etc.) and exert appropriate influence
  • Organizes  and  executes  central  and  decentralized  bundling  of  the  demands  of  the  different affiliates/sites and projects for optimum utilization of procurement power.
  • Analyzes scope of supply and customer contract agreements, carrying  out risk  analyses and introducing negotiation recommendations to prepare for negotiations with suppliers (back-to-back where appropriate) and to initiate appropriate measures and tactics
  • Prepares   and   conducts   contract   and   price   negotiations,   renegotiations   and   subsequent negotiations, for medium to large volumes supplies to contribute to the profitability of the company and finalizes supplier agreements
  • Leads the procurement elements of bids and tenders where applicable ensuring robust definition of requirements and commercial terms
  • Works with preferred suppliers to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation
  • Identifies and manages category and supplier risks, including those of the suppliers' supply chain and guarantees an optimum (low risk) supply chain
  • Proactively manages the performance of the suppliers
  • Prepares and delivers category reports, presentations, tracking and monitoring of performance and cost savings
  • Establishes proper sourcing processes and methodologies to deliver optimum impact of cost cutting potential (procurement plan, target costing) and to meet requirements
  • Prepares and follows up purchasing order

 

 Profile : 

  • University Degree in Economics, Engineering, Chemistry, Business Administration
  • 03 years experience in pharmaceutical industries
  • Specific Information/skill (foreign language, computer skill, legislation skill etc.)
  • Able to use effectively MS Office
  • Able to speak English well
  • Preferably Knowledge of SAP
