L'Organisation internationale pour les migrations (OIM), créée en 1951, est l’organisation intergouvernementale qui occupe la position de chef de file sur la scène migratoire. Forte de 166 Etats Membres auxquels viennent s'ajouter 10 autres Etats ayant le statut d'observateur, et disposant de bureaux dans plus de 100 pays, elle opère étroitement avec ses partenaires gouvernementaux, intergouvernementaux et non gouvernementaux afin de gérer les migrations dans un bon ordre et dans des conditions préservant la dignité humaine, promouvoir la coopération internationale sur la scène migratoire, faciliter la recherche de solutions pratiques aux problèmes migratoires et offrir une assistance humanitaire aux migrants dans le besoin, en ce compris les réfugiés et les déplacés internes. L’OIM est présente en Algérie depuis 2016


Responsibilities  and  Accountabilities:

  • Support the installation and maintenance of the LAN (Switches, Cabling, etc.) monitor and troubleshoot the LAN (Performance, Capacity and Security);
  • Assist in the Installation and configuration of WAN components, coordinate with the local ISP to ensure connection availability, Performance and remote connection whenever needed.
  • Assist in the Installation and Administering of the BOB server and other services in the mission.
  • Liaise with the Regional ICT officer and “ICT Global support and services” as needed to provide the mission with required technical support.
  • Assist in Daily Backup of data/information for the Mission.
  • Install, configure and upgrade desktops and laptop computers and software (client operating System Windows10 PRO, MS Office 2013/2016, O365) and other client applications and software including IOM corporate applications and software.
  • Secure the missions’ data/information from viruses/worms. Perform virus detection, removal and prevention for all systems in the mission. Downloading the latest Anti-Virus signatures for Data Protection.
  • Maintain a Hotline for IT user problems and provide onsite end user support.
  • Make sure that IOM Data protection principles are met and followed during daily work when dealing with Users and mission Data.
  • Perform such other related duties as may be assigned

Education and Experience:

  • University/Institute Degree in Computer Science/System Engineering
  • 3 years of working experience in MS Windows and MS office products, Windows Server (Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Good knowledge in network administration (LAN/WAN) and use of hardware/software & telecommunications facilities.
  • Experience IP telephony solutions is a plus.



  • Certified CompTIA A+, MCSE or CCNA is a plus
