He is responsible to organize the execution in accordance to the HSE, Schedule and Quality project requirement of the assigned tasks within the pertaining Discipline, optimizing resources assigned. In particular, he/she is responsible to:

  • ensure the application of safety rules as per project requirement (work permit, toolboxes, working areas, etc.) at the start of every day
  • participate in coordinating activities carried out by subcontractors and deal with the relevant documentation;
  • verify that works done are in line with the project's technical specifications;
  • ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards during performance of site works;
  • witness quality control inspections and tests according to applicable plans and instructions received by the Site Quality Manager;
  • produce reports about the work in progress and concerning the utilization of human resources and equipment.
  • ensure the works front for Subcontractor in terms of material and engineering documents
  • release of construction material voucher to subcontractor and coordination with Site Material Manager for prompt delivery
  • verification of the Subcontractor progress and verification/agreement on daily/weekly site schedule. Prompt reporting to DS/CM in case of deviance.
  • vendor site direct management
  • regular site verification and comments of Subcontractor daily reports
  • preparation of correspondence with subcontractor and assistance to CM and SM in the negotiation of claims and change orders arising from Subcontractor, as well for clarifications requested by the Client. 



  • Candidate shall have a background as instrument engineer to collaborate with Field / Home Office Engineering for any possible issue happened during the construction / commissioning activities.
  • In addition, the candidate shall give evidence to have enough experience (minimum 10 years) as instrument supervisor for construction and commissioning activities; capability to lead the instrument team and vendors interface; ability to manage the interface with subcontract (SARPI consortium partner) and client supervisor.
