The Agfa HealthCare Direct Export / ROW (Rest of World) Sales Organization’s management team is largelyoperational from Agfa HealthCare’s HQ, but operates in 88 countries worldwide, with local representation in Russia,Dubai, South Africa, Algeria, Ukraine, Iran etc distributing the full Agfa HealthCare’s portfolio into Africa, Middle East, Russia, Central Asia, Ukraine and other countries scattered across the globe.

We are looking for a Temporary full time (Maternity cover) for the Sales Support team in Algeria:

Sales Support (M/F)

The Sales Support department is accountable for the transactional processing of commercial agreements, which are defined by the Sales Department. It is also accountable for the management of the local inventories in countries withAgfa representation. A large portion of the department is located in Agfa HQ, but there are also decentralised sales supporters in our local representation locations.  The workload is distributed according to geography, with each sales supporter accountable for a number of sales destinations.

 

Job description


Your role will be to support the HQ based Operations Manager, as well as the Regional Sales Managers in a mission to support and drive the commercial transactions, between Agfa HealthCare and their customers across the ROW region. In practise, you will be accountable for following (non-exhaustive list) tasks:

  • Creation and administration of quotations (incl contribution calculations)
  • Transactional processing of commercial relationships (order intake, delivery administration, invoicing,…)
  • Act as intermediate, service provider and bridge between the different Agfa departments, including
  • Sales, Marketing, Service, Production & Supply Chain, Finance,…
  • Manage customer deliveries in close cooperation with Logistics partners
  • Ascertaining that Letters of Credit are being attended to according to requirements in place
  • Financial follow-up of the customer accounts in your portfolio (accounts receivables)
  • Follow-up of tenders and offers to official (public) instances
  • Ascertain swift and integer management of customer complaints
  • Assistance in practical preparations of customer visits, exhibitions etc


Qualifications

  • Degree in economics, logistics, marketing, international trade,… or equivalent through experience
  • Knowledge of international payment methods, international logistics, custom regulations,…
  • Base knowledge of HealthCare portfolio
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office, SAP, Lotus Notes,…
  • Proficient knowledge of English and French, other languages are a plus
  • Swift, effective, assertive and diplomatic communicator

  • Flexible and stress resistant
  • Curious nature and willingness to learn and expand skills.
