Chemi-Pro is one of the first chemical products distributors in Algeria. As a prominent raw material importer in the industry it works in partnership with a wide international network of world class producers.
Following a steady growth, the company has opened new positions and is seeking new hires.
Please note that all essential skills need to be met to be considered.
Relevant Experience would be advantageous but optional: training will be provided to ease the successful candidate’s adaptation to our methods.

Commercial/ Business Development (M/W)

 

Essential skills:
- Fluency in English both written and verbal (Essential) [Note: an interview and test will be carried out in English].
- Fluency in French both written and verbal (Essential).
- Ability to multi-task and manage own workload.
- Organisational skills.
- Ability to use Ms Office (Excel and Word)
- Commitment of a minimum of 1-2 years.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to negotiate effective and to develop your own network.
- Ability to meet deadlines and targets on a regular basis.

Additional skills: (Advantageous but not Compulsory)
- Fluency in any of the following additional languages: Arabic, Spanish, German, Chinese.
- Previous experience in the distribution, production or supply of any of the following: chemical raw materials, paints, additives, cosmetics, agri-foods, pharmaceutical products, or similar.
- Ability to drive and visit clients would be advantageous. However, if you possess a strong profile, the company can accommodate your needs and offer a position based in our offices.


Main Responsibilities:
As a sales representative of the firm you will create long term value for the organisation by generating sales leads, securing orders, and following them through to ensure complete client satisfaction. This will mainly be achieved by:
- Managing clients and suppliers relationships, this will be in French and English.
- Keeping in touch with clients.
- Providing regular reports regarding clients needs.
- Keeping track of invoices, orders, payment and other documents as required.
- Find prospective clients, convert sales leads into transactions.
- Identify new products in the market and maintain a database of substitute products.
- Attend to potential issue regarding an order that was placed.
