Job purpose: 

  • To develop and execute effective strategies that will ensure patient access to our products.
  • To establish relationships with key policy makers and influential groups within the market sector.
  • To identify and map the key decision-makers in the country, influential state societies and professional societies.
  • To stay abreast on market trends, on market development and anticipate to implement appropriate changes to strategy.
  • To work closely with Marketing & Field operations organization to help resolve customer issues around patient access to our products.
  • To ensure regulatory and price approval for all new products and for existing products undergoing reviews
  • To provide market access and health economics input into prelaunch and launch activities of new products
  • To review and generate local health economics data to support new and existing products
  • To coordinate the internal and external price updates
  • To manage price applications and approval of commercially competitive prices


  • University degree in natural science. Business related degree (MBA) is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical industry in dealing with Health authorities.
  • Good communication and writing skills.
  • Team spirit.
  • Good listening and negotiation skills
  • Business approach.
  • Analytical thinking and ability to adapt and respond positively to a variety of situations.
  • Ability to work under pressure. Sense of urgency. Multiple tasking.

 Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Obtaining optimum market access conditions for new products (including new indications and line extensions) and leading all the related processes
  • Maintaining and improving optimum market access conditions for current products
  • Helping to provide the evidence and knowledge to support to secure optimal reimbursement of our products
  • Coordinating pricing issues in Roche, providing accurate and relevant internal pricing advice
  • Producing health economics arguments to support local regulatory submissions
  • Negotiating with external bodies and internal departments

Role specific requirements:

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Relevant University degree in medical field
  • Fluent in French & English (written and spoken)
  • + 5years’ experience of pharmaceutical industry and healthcare environment
  • +3 years’ experience in Market AccessSkills & Abilities
  • Fluency in written and spoken French and English
  • Knowledge of pricing policy and environment within industry, legislation and government guidelines
  • Appreciation of business and local market
  • Medical & Health Economics skills
  • IT skills
