Summary of the role

 The CEO will be responsible for the entire scope of building successful Operation and Management Team for the company business developing in Algeria. With an extensive experience in Algeria and with a solid background in Oil & Gas Projects Logistics & Supply Chain Operations, the dimensions of the CEO accountabilities will include Licensing, Office Leasing and Asset Management, manpower recruitment and development of the Management Team, P&L and Budgets, Sales Strategy and implementation, Client Relationship Management and Resources Optimization.


Accountabilities and Deliverables

  • Set Vision and Strategy for a Company
  • Create culture that is compatible to the local environment and in line with Shareholders’ Corporate culture in terms of Values, Work Ethics and Processes
  • Build and develop the Management Team
  • Devise and implement the Sales Strategy and sales activities which are primarily focused on the O&G industry; identify business opportunities within the industry and convert into revenue.
  • Respond to complex global and local tenders and manage new proposals
  • Review signed contracts and allocate resources; plan project operations timelines
  • Manage Client Relationship from A to Z: understand customer logistics requirements and provide creative technical solutions that meet and exceed clients' requirements
  • Responsible for the performance of complex and technical logistics operations for both overseas and in-country projects
  • In charge of Freight Forwarding, Project Logistics, Heavy Lift, Road transportation, Warehousing Products
  • Select the vendors and evaluate their performance; manage vendors relationship
  • Oversee Equipment Lease, Insurance, Health & Safety
  • Be the owner of Country's P&L and report the financial performance of the to the SVP- Africa and the company Supervisory Board
  • Be accountable for optimization of resource management and achievement of financial budget
  • Provide reporting and market intelligence to the SVP highlighting business performance, competitive landscape and proposals for         
  • Revenue increase and improvement of operational efficiency
  • Provide continuous leadership, support and sense of direction; develop teamwork


Master’s degree in Logistics and/or Business Administration


  • A minimum of 15 years’ experience in the Industry (Oil & Gas, Freight, Supply Chain), with at least 6 to 8 years in Algeria in a leading position
  • Extensive experience in Oil & Gas projects
  • Experience in working in Algeria and dealing with County’s Official Bodies and major    
  • Oil & Gas client accounts

Technical Skills

  • Freight Forwarding, Project Logistics, Heavy Lift, Road transportation, Warehousing Products Knowledge
  •  Sales/Commercial Management
  • P&L, Budgeting
  • Languages; French and English
  • Advanced Microsoft Office
