Our client a multinational company is looking for a sales Manager.

 Mission:

  • To develop and implement the sales strategy for Dubai with a focus on creating and developing the Company commercial business and value propositions.
  • To prepare and implement the Sales Plan with a focus on revenue growth, key sectors business development, and profitability growth.
  • To manage the Sales and Marketing function for Company within Dubai; this includes all Sales activities across
  • Freight Forwarding and Contract Logistics as well as Strategic Account Management of existing premium accounts. The role requires mentoring, monitoring and driving the complete sales team to achieve the country Business Development targets as well as personally managing large or complex sales cycles.
  • To provide guidance and direction to the Strategic Account Management team to ensure Company retains and grows existing key accounts. To also be involved in supporting these marque clients with continuous improvement programs, business process re-engineering as well as supply chain design and optimizing studies

  • Net Revenue generation of Field Sales Team
  • Gross Revenue for Strategic Managed Accounts

  • Algeria

Accountabilities 

  • Responsible for delivery of the Net Revenue Freight sales target for Field Sales
  • Responsible for delivery of the Gross Revenue target for Strategically Managed accounts
  • Ensures credit is provided to clients based on a structured process with sufficient approvals and checks in place
  • Drives Sales and Marketing team to support Account Receivables team on collection of monies from Sales and Strategic Managed accounts 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales/marketing/supply chain solutions, or equivalent (or additional 3PL/logistics experience)

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years within the Logistics/Supply Chain industry
  • Minimum 5 years Management of a diverse team
  • Solutions sales experience gained in an international environment
  • Commercial negotiation experience
  • Understanding of profit and loss account and drivers of the logistics cost and commercial structures

Skills

  • Commercial and business strategic skills
  • Negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Working efficiency in MS-Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Project Management
  • Product knowledge of Supply Chain (warehousing, freight forwarding, distribution)
  • Project Management skills

  • Contract Management skills

Computer Skills

Advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
