Missions du poste :

  • Achieve Business unit objectives and sales/BOI targets
  • Is responsible for the Trade Marketing activies across the different channels, in line with the overall business unit strategy
  • In having customer satisfaction as main priority, he/she is the strategic interface between Marketing, Product Management and sales team to ensure achievement of the sales and budget objectives
  • Develop systems and tracking tools that effectively manage and review ROI and POP effectiveness of store promotoins and activations
  • Translate marketing strategy into winning customer marketing programs Translate objectives and strategies into specific programs, including category and channel investment.
  • To manage the Business Unit Gross to Nett and ensure that Gross Margin targets are met.

 Key Accountabilities :

  • Acts as a link between Marketing , Key Account Management and Channels to optimally reach the company’s goals and objectives and improve market share, customer satisfaction and productivity .
  • Provide leadership in the translation and execution of the Marketing strategy & actions into impact winning customer marketing programs
  • Regular trade visits and coaching days in field as per company guidelines
  • Defines and Manages Trade marketing budget
  • Co-ordinate & communicate on product, price and pack changes.
  • Comply with relevant poloicy legislation, ethical standards and company policies
  • To ensure that action plans and internal control processes and procedures are implemented by teams in line with deadlines committed in internal audit report
  • Develops a Company Trade Marketing strategy including,  6A’s  in line with respective sales and marketing strategy and objective.
  • Define Channels and segment customer base for CHC  for Both Pharmacies and Doctors ( CVM )
  • Responsible for the development, deployment & monitoring of tactical plans designed to enhance 6A strategies within individual channels ( Account standards)
  • Define an optimal product mix providing a return to the customer & business
  • Define Distribution targets in each channel by brand to support marketing objective
  • Develop merchansising strategy in line with Channel and Marketing objectives
  • Define trade objective & KPIS in-line with brand strategies across all channels and key customers.
  • Together with NSM and KAMS, manage the 3rd party sales and Marketing/Key Accounts
  • Align Promotional Planning grids across channels/customers and allocate category/channel budget accordingly, formulating proactive response
  • Identify, develop and implement POP material in-store (in line with campaign idea and brand identity/strategy)
  • Continuous analysis of the competitive and customer’s position in the country.
  • Develop and deploy NPD strategies based on Channel needs (product/brand needs by channel including house brands)
  • Working closely with key customers and Account Managers to provide category and shopper insights to drive performance, identifying opportunities in Key customers and monitoring of campaigns for success in individual channels.
  • Measure ROI on all promotions in channels at trade level – by category and channel investment and targets, specific promotion planning, post-promotion ROI analysis
  • Track performance of budgeted targets & achievement within product group by brand and channel
  • To manage/assist with the Business Unit and Key Account P&L(s) and ensure profit and sales targets are met
  • Track and manage customer spend by brand inline with allocation.
  • To Direct and Manage Price strategy with deal structures (promotional discounts) and annual increase in line with strategic objectives – communicate and align changes with finance and business
  • Feid force sizing of both Pharmacy team and Doctor detailing team through FF effectiveness measures

Knowledge:

  • In- depth knowledge of the Consumer Health Care,FMCG  and pharmaceutical industry
  • Effective strategic planning abilities
  • Ability to catergory management and assorytment is needed
  • Knowledge of IT Systems and Tools required

  • Sales representative experience in the consumer health care or pharmaceutical market is advantageous
