The Marketing Manager is responsible to drive all marketing activities within Hilti Algeria in terms of understanding the relevant markets, creating awareness, delivering superior value, promoting opportunity purchase and evaluate and sustain loyalty. By doing so correctly, Hilti Algeria is in a better position to achieve enthusiastic customers leading to sustainable profitable growth. Additionally responsible for establishing the Engineering & Channels department structure and strategy in order to ensure clear service differentiation to our customers and over proportional growth in engineered products and sales channels[BG1] .

 

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Participate in development and update XX year strategic MO plan aligned with long term vision of HAG and local partner.
  • Annually define 1 year MO plan aligned with XX year strategic plan.
  • Act as a value adding partner in Management Team and proactively contribute to the team purpose, leading to sound and timely decisions.
  • Support and participate in strategic projects when required.
  • Use PMP and SMD tools in line with guidelines from HR to identify and develop talents in the team.
  • Act on GEOS findings by encouraging open communication within the team and implement tangible actions based on annual result.
  • Develop our corporate culture by living OCJ principles as well as leading by example and living our core values.
  • Facilitate close cooperation with sales, logistics & AMS management in order to allow efficient implementation of trade- and product leadership strategies.
  • Maintain an accurate fact base to be used for marketing and MO plans.
  • Establish marketing plans (Trade, PLS, Brand, Service) which maximizes sales revenues and segment profitability.
  • Communicate marketing plans to MT and MCS teams.
  • Act as controller for the HILTI brand by reassuring CI/CD compliance in our appearance in the Algerian market.
  • Key driver of introductions of products, applications & services in line with marketing strategies.
  • Promote and contribute to product and application training to ensure best standards in product and application knowledge.
  • Take lead on pricing initiatives.
  • Safeguard the existence of a clear Value Proposition for all our products based on 5 differentiating factors.
  • Translate marketing strategies into value adding activities to be implemented by MCS teams. 
  • Support MO channel strategy in terms of fact base and promotions.
  • Support channel management to evaluate new and support development of existing channels.
  • Working closely with the company’s Sales team; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations
  • Guiding the day to day activities of the marketing team.
  • Ensuring that the marketing objectives are implemented by the marketing team.

  • Work closely with product management team to define marketing materials
    and programs.
  • Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media
    reputation and recognition.
  • Developing and delivering marketing and communications strategies for the organisation.
  • Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends

Person Specification:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing or similar
  • Professional chartered marketer (CIM).
  • Proven track record of success in senior marketing roles.
  • Confident, driven and dynamic leader.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot original branding opportunities.
  • Line Management experience
  • Have knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts
  • Be an excellent communicator
  • Be able to respond well to pressure
  • work well in a team and with a wide range of people
  • Have a good business awareness
