Site Scheduling Manager (H/F)

Key Responsabilities:

  • Ensuring maintenance of an accurate Open Order Book so systems can be used to identify when product shipments are scheduled to occur.
  • Ensuring execution of a Flexible Repeating Schedule (FRS) methodology to package finished goods.
  • Ensuring execution of a level-loaded schedule to supply the FRS with any intermediates required.
  • Ensuring measurement of Conformance to Plan (CtP) for all Production work centres.
  • Ensuring measurement of Domestic Right First Time (DSRFT) for the shipment of the Finished Goods from GMS to the market.
  • Ensuring attendance of Production Schedulers at supply chain performance management sessions (daily) to represent all work centres within a single site in the GSK Manufacturing network.
  • Ensuring provision (to the relevant Supply Chain Planning Manager) of daily/shift performance figures for all work centres within a single site in the GSK Manufacturing network.
  • Ensuring maintenance of an up-to-date capacity definition for select production work centres, based on demonstrated output and CtP through the Production Capacity Validation (PCV) process
  • Ensuring execution of a pre-defined Performance Management process to ensure order fulfillment, whilst maintaining strict adherence to the FRS methodology and intent.
  • Accommodate any non-standard activities (i.e. NPI, artwork change) into the production schedule whilst continually maintaining adherence to the FRS methodology.
  • Ensure constant monitoring, maintenance and accuracy of all critical data fields within the systems that are related to work centers each Scheduler role is responsible for.

 

 

Job Purpose:

  • To ensure the execution of Production Scheduling (0-6 week Horizon) for all work centres within a single site in the GSK Manufacturing network.
  • To ensure monitoring and definition of a capacity statement for all work centres within a single site in the GSK Manufacturing network (0-24 months).
  • To ensure that Production Scheduling activities occur according to a defined Standard Work/Scripted Day/Week – making certain that all critical activities happen at the right time and in the correct sequence.
  • To ensure that Material Scheduling activities occur according to a defined Standard Work/Scripted Day/Week – making certain that all critical activities happen at the right time and in the correct sequence.
  • To manage and motivate the scheduling team at a site in the GSK Manufacturing network.
  • Where necessary, to represent GSK to external customers for operations (where a GSK Facility operates as a contract manufacturer or as appropriate to the site’s role within the GSK Supply and Demand operating model).

 

Profile:

  • Minimum Level of Education:
    University graduate or equivalent in an appropriate business/technical area
  • Area of Specialisation:
    Strong site operations competencies managing within a complex environment, customer relationship management and performance management
  • Fluent English & French
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in same position

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Qualification in a supply chain related discipline, logistics, supply management, demand management, operational management or MBA.
  • Pharmaceutical / FMCG Experience
