Business Development Manager

Description:

  • The Business Development Manager is responsible for securing new business with new customers within existing and new portfolio of products.
  • The role is expected to have a focus on hunting new business. The role ensures an excellent client experience at all times and works in collaboration with several functions to ensure collaboration and optimize results.
  • Achieve personal sales targets by developing new business with potential clients.
  • Take a solutions and consultative value selling approach to ensure clients’ needs are accurately met.
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline and ensure all sales administration is kept current at all times. Undertake cold calling, ensuring that the number of calls meets call targets as set by management.
  • Schedule and attend client meetings, ensuring that number of meetings meets targets as set by management.
  • Actively and successfully manage the sales process: lead generation; credentials pitch; asking questions; solution pitch; negotiation; close; handover to the account management team.
  • Work closely with current customers on account management activities. Develop new business relationships.
  • Deliver an excellent client experience at all times, ensuring client needs are met or exceeded. Proactive and responsive to clients and prospective clients.

 

Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • At least 8 years' experience in Business Development and Sales.
  • Very good level of French and English languages (Writing and speaking).
  • Self Starter, Humble with listening skills, Customer Centric, Hunting spirit Self-motivated and results driven; excellent relationship management skills; team player; innovative; a genuine interest in developing business; excellent organisational and time management skills; attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
