Job purpose:

  • Service Delivery Line Manager is operations delivery responsible towards Ericsson Operations Delivery Management and Customer by leading a team of Operations Resources for successful delivery of Digital Telco BSS Operations. 
  • Service Delivery Line Manager shall be direct responsible for team management, competence management, team skills management, operations account management & financials management, team appraisals management etc in alignment with Ericsson policies 
  • Service Delivery Line Manager in alignment with Operations Team shall ensure the availability and skills of the team for performing the activities of the operations as obligated for the Digital Telco BSS for customer business and shall ensure that service levels are maintained by the operations teams all through-out the operations hours.
  • Participating in the operations governance forums with his team members as required shall also be responsibility for Service Delivery Line Manager


Duties and responsibilities:

  • Service Delivery Line Manager shall be
  • End to end responsible for the operations delivery for a Telco BSS Platform through his assigned team
  • Responsible for the ensuring that the team assigned maintains the service levels during the operations for the Telco BSS 
  • Perform extensive Team Management for the team assigned as Line Manager
  • Ensure financial and operational performance monitoring and reporting and drive improvement plans whenever necessary.
  • Periodically assess customer satisfaction, identifying potential issues, determining actions to improve customer  satisfaction and secure their implementation through detailed discussions with assigned team
  • Secure Governance Model full implementation and execution for the specific Customer by ensuring that the team assigned participates in the Governance forums
  • Responsible for establishing WLA with the operations delivery areas within his/her team and ensuring that all operational interfaces with the customer are established and functional.

  • 10-12 years of experience in an IT Telco operations/services delivery leadership experience with experience of managing teams  
  • Strong Leadership Skills
  • CXO Management Skills
  • Good governance & people management experience
  • Vendor Management and Negotiations skills
  • Multivendor experience an added advantage
  • Very good financial acumen
  • Very good business management skill
  • Very good Operation management skill
  • Telco environments understanding and experience is mandatory 
  • Knowledge and experience of multi-vendor IT operations is an plus.
  • Subject matter expertise on operator BSS

  • English skills, oral and written

Education:

  • University degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or equivalent experience in a related discipline 
  • Post Graduation or MBA is desired
  • Industry Certifications is added advantage
