Operations Finance is part of the Operations and Finance Functions and is seen to be a valued business partner, through the provision of proactive, innovative and actionable commercial insights. It should lead the development of strong commercial awareness within the Operations Function and best practice methodologies and tools.

Key Deliverables:

  • Lead the preparation and consolidation of the monthly / quarterly / annual / budget / Capex operations financial reporting for the Algeria Operations function in order to present a consolidated management information pack.
  • Working as a business partner with Operations, proactively use the operations finance data to Identify and propose areas of cost savings / business development within the Operations scope of activities.
  • Coordinate and solve issues with customs, sales tax, upon importation and exportation of the company products in relation pricing
  • Supervise the stock monthly closure controls related actions, valuation, and provision required
  • Manage financials reporting requirement with its related quarterly reconciliation.
  • Promote an effective and efficient operational control environment throughout the business by maintaining and enhancing financial controls
  • Ensure that all operations finance performance metrics have been strongly satisfied
  • Liaise and collaborate with different stakeholders within Operations, Finance, cross-functional and customers.

Essential requirements:

  • at least 5 years’ experience in general and management accounting and financial analysis.
  • Bachelor or master’s degree in accounting and finance
  • Preferable to have a “CAPA”
  • Previous experience in FMCG is a must
  • Knowledge of key elements of the Operations and Supply Chain function.
  • Project management skills
  • Fluent English speaking
  • University Degree in Finance
  • ACCA / CIMA / CMA /CPA level accounting qualification
  •  Strong influencing / negotiating skills
