Job Description:

The Field Service Supervisor for the Varian Radiation Oncology business within Siemens Healthineers, will direct the coordination of technical and administrative support activities including repair, preventative maintenance and engineering change upgrades in order to provide the highest level of service, maximize customer satisfaction and achieve financial objectives., this is an office-based role in Algiers, Algeria.


Key responsibilities:

  • Provides direction for the delivery of pre- and post-sales services and support to customers.

  • Participates in the resolution of customer concerns and defining and developing a customer contact strategy.

  • Supervises a team of employees, provides guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.

  • Analyzes operational processes, escalation procedures and performs training needs assessments for identifying opportunities for service delivery improvements and value add to the customer.

  • Performs all required management responsibilities including but not limited to implementing the company's policies, programs, and guidelines; ensuring employee productivity and growth; managing resources; knowing Varian's business; and maintaining functional, technical, and external market awareness necessary for managing immediate organization.


Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge :

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.

  • Holds a bachelor university degree of at least three years in a technical field.

  • Excellent fluency in Arabic, French, English verbal, spoken and written is mandatory.

  • Highly effective interpersonal skills & communication skills.

  • Previous experience in team management.

  • Ability, competence and confidence to lead people.

  • Must understand team collaboration in a matrix environment and have effective networking/relationship building skills at all levels within and outside of the organization.

  • Able to work independently, make decisions within the scope of this role and adhere to the corporate policies and procedures.

  • Be a critical thinker with a clear communication style who is pro-active, logical, analytical and results oriented.

  • Completed Military Obligations.
