Region - Country Quality Director/ Manager

Customer satisfaction :
- Represents the Customer Quality voice within the organisation. Ensures that all Customer quality issues are addressed.
- Supports all proposals regarding Quality & Safety requirements to the customer eg. presentations, explanations, communications.
- Guarantees the quality & Safety of the products & services delivered to customers (right of veto on delivery).
- Develops the required sense of urgency within the organisation to cure quality & Safety issues.
- Manages closely the Top Quality & Safety items of the Operations activities.
- If required, fosters and consolidates good relationships with customers through periodic meetings

Quality culture :
- Develop a shared Quality & Safety culture, behaviour and improvement tools within the geographical zone
- Escalate critical quality issues, including safety, within the organization.

Certifications and standards :
- Maintains / Obtains all required Certifications through: Compliance with standard requirements; implementation of audits and follow-up plans; driving actions required by Management reviews.
- Ensures that the relevant processes and functional standards are applied to every project with specific attention to the DFQ process and test & validation phases
- Manages implementation of quality & Safety standards & tools in accordance with Q Policies.
- Drives action and continuous improvement plans to analyse and reduce the CONQ, NCR, Safety issues and Demerit
- Establishes and validates with other departments all Project Quality & Railway Safety Plans, including Quality Inspection criteria.
- Provides leadership to the Q teams. Manages and motivates team members and develops high performing Q teams.
- Participates in Q network, to improve functional standards, processes, tools and methods towards operational excellence.
- Identify best practices into the zone and share to capitalise them
- Promote the implementation of assessment tools (i.e. APSYS Quality) and support sites in their evaluation and proposed actions

Key Performance Indicators:
KPI n°1 Customer : reactivity indicators to Top issues (PST)
KPI n°2 Suppliers : NC rate / FAI Go
KPI n°3 Project : DFQ Go On time / Cost of Non Quality
KPI n°4 Industrial : Demerit / Apsys maturity level
KPI n°5 QMS : certification audits results

 

Candidate requirements:
- Educational requirements: Master Degree in Quality or Engineering.
- Technical Knowledge / Experience: 10 to 15 years of experience Quality, project and operation.
- Quality professional background.

- Strong management experience of large multicultural team"

Behavioral and Technical Skills / Competencies:
- Fluent english & International mindset.
- Leadership, communication, internal and external influencing skills, remote management, negotiation, strategic vision, Project management.

- Ability to deal with complex matrix organisation and multiple interfaces.
